Hi I'm Caroline your Rodney NappyDays consultant. I have a 2 year old daughter, Alana, who has been in TotsBots Flexitots full-time since she was a couple of weeks old (even at daycare from 9 months).

I have just recently given up part-time employment as Technical Manager for a cheese manufacturer to concentrate on our new baby due to be born in October. I have loved using Flexitots for Alana, look forward to using them again for our new baby girl, and with my new found time want to promote to other mums how easy they are to use even when busy working. My husband David works in the environmental sector and we wanted to ensure we were not contributing to household waste with disposables as well as saving money. Its also a valuable education tool for Alana as she knows her nappies are washed (recycled) and not thrown away which is an important value to us.

Before Alana was born I spent a hideous amount of time researching cloth nappies and from my research decided to use the Flexitot system. They were as brilliant as described I just wish that I could have done this research by talking to a user of the product and being able to touch and feel the products before investing. Waitakere - Kristina Walsh

Hi there,

My name is Kristina and I'm the rep for Auckland. My husband and I live in one of the greenest parts of Auckland, the beautiful Waitakere Ranges. We're really conscious of the environment because we are on tank water and have a septic tank. We recycle, compost, have a garden, I bake a lot and make my own jam.

I decided I wanted to use cloth nappies while I was pregnant and had even more reason to change when I realised after 1 week of a newborn in disposables our rubbish output had doubled! Not to mention the fact that disposables in your rubbish are smelly and disgusting. I've been using cloth full time during the day on my son since he was 10 weeks old. I've used lots of different brands of nappies on Issac and I truly believe that Tots Bots are the best there are.

I've got an almost fail-safe system to convert to cloth easily so it's not scary to do at all. I even got some of my friends to use cloth on their babies once they saw how easy it was for me. I absolutely love cloth nappies and I know you will too!

Hamilton - Alona Finn

Our No. 1 choice for cloth nappies has always been Totsbots, first it was their soft feeling bamboo fabric which grabbed our attention. It was a great to find that they really were easy to use, clean and dry. Lately they have brought out their new eye-catching prints and they have been a hit in our family, my daughter loves the prints!

I'm Cara the NappyDays consultant for the Whakatane area and I'm excited to share with you my love of TotsBots nappies. I began using TotsBots, Flexitots when my daughter was about 3 months old. At first I was glad to have them as a spare nappy when the disposables were running low, but I began using them more frequently as I realised just how easy to use and fabulously good they are.

I used to have the perception that cloth nappies couldn't be used at night and while this may be true of cheaper nappies on the market, I was truly amazed when I recently started sleeping my daughter in her Flexitots plus an added soft, bamboo booster overnight. I assumed she would wake up wet and I would have to change her and the bedding, not my idea of a fun night... I was shocked and delighted to find she slept right through the night and no leaks! I now sleep her every night in her Flexitots.

I've recently become a little obsessed with totsbots and have started using them as much as I can. I purchased some cherrylicious Easyfits and they are just way too cute! I thought 'all in one' nappies would be a bit less 'trustworthy' but I love leaving the house confident that there is no need to keep checking or changing her nappy.

Flexitots and Easyfits are the best cloth nappies I have tried; I would not want to be a NappyDays consultant if I didn't truly believe they are just that good! They are amazingly absorbent, reliable, and quick drying and I love the option of a one size nappy so I don't have to buy a bigger size as baby grows.

Kia ora,

My name is Keri and I am very excited about being the Hastings area Nappy Days Consultant.

My husband and I have two children and we have been using cloth nappies since our son was 4 weeks old. To begin with, the expense of buying cloth nappies seemed a little overwhelming but the long-term benefits have been well worth forking out those initial dollars. Buying a quality brand of nappies that are easy to use has meant that the whole family is on board with changing our kids, including the grandparents. So while we have saved on our grocery bill in the long run, we also feel good that our waste production has not increased. It is a very rewarding feeling seeing a clothesline filled with cloth nappies as opposed to a rubbish bin fill of disposables.

We have 2 boys, I have been using cloth part-time as that is what works best for our family since number 2 was about three months old and he is now 12 months we love how much money we save even being part-time.

They are so easy to use, clean and dry even in our cooler climate.I always thought cloth was hard work and didn't use with number one but I was so wrong!

I use disposables when we are out and about but on home days we have a cloth baby!

Ashurst - Emmaleen

Hi my name is Emmaleen and I live with my husband Dion (an Army Fire fighter) and our two sons. Toby is 3 years old and fully toilet trained (used cloth nappies from birth) and Theodore is 4 months old (and in cloth nappies full time). We also have a cat (Snuggles) and dog (Tess) so I am kept pretty busy!

I love cloth nappies as they are kind on the environment, the pocket and baby's bottom! We have saved so much money using cloth (at night too!) and have been able to use the same nappies for both our children, as they have lasted so well. I feel cloth nappies are an easy (mutually beneficial!) way to do our bit for the environment, plus they look absolutely gorgeous on! My babies seem to have less nappy rash using cloth (no nasty chemicals by their bottoms!) and I'm sure they helped my son toilet train easier (as could feel he was wet etc.).

I am very excited about becoming a Nappy Days Consultant and getting to promote a product I believe in and love!

Hi I am Tracey Piper your Wellington Nappydays Consultant.

My husband and I have two beautiful girls aged 3 and 16 months and made the decision while pregnant with our first child to invest in cloth nappies.

When Mikayla was 2 weeks old we started using cloth nappies as much as possible, it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I also think using cloth nappies has helped her to be toilet trained by day and recently by night. By the time Skarlett arrived we had been using Totsbots for about 6 months (you may have seen the girls modelling nappies on Nappydays website). The adjustability of the birth to potty nappies meant we had both girls wearing the same style of nappies.

We are part time cloth nappy users, where if we are at home we use cloth nappies but at night or if the kids are sick then its disposables. I do a load of cloth nappies every two days and after using two brands of nappies I am now a convert to the ease of using Totsbots. Plus it's easier on the budget, better for our kids and less household waste.

Hi my name is Kim Foss. I am the Dunedin consultant for Nappy Days, I am also the Dunedin representative for The Nappy Lady tm.

I am Mum to 3 loud boys. I stumbled upon cloth nappies when my eldest was 8 months old. So I have experienced the huge mass of waste that disposables can muster. Not to mention the bottomless pit of money they consume. I have been using cloth nappies for 6 years now, constantly. Often having two in cloth at the same time.

I have enjoyed watching the industry grow. What I love the most about Tots bots nappies is that they work brilliantly. I have used in excess of 100 different brands, as I like to stay up to date with the market. Certainly not all cloth nappies are created equal. Tots bots continue to develop their line of products and are constantly improving as new fabrics become available that preform even better. I love this about this company. Cloth nappies of this generation are certainly something to be seen to be believed.

My current fav is the flexi tot nappy system. It is by far the best I have ever used. In Dunedin where we experience short winter days. Drying time of cloth nappies is of a concern. Flexitot nappies work perfectly for this. No PUL in the nappy and wonderfully quick drying fabrics, means that this system is hands down the quickest drying nappy I have ever experienced. It provides great containment.. Also having bamboo against babies skin you get the added advantages of the antibacterial properties.

Hi, I am Becca, I am married to Jeremy and we have a daughter, Isabel, who will be one in July! I have lived in Dunedin all my life and really love it here!

When Isabel was born we wanted to use cloth nappies, but the brand we bought didn't work out well for us. I never tried any others as I was overwhelmed by the choice and didn't want to spend more money on something that wasn't going to work.

When Isabel was 8 months old I was introduced to Tots Bots. I bought an Easyfit to try and loved it. I now use a combination of Easyfits, Flexitots and Bamboozles. I love Easyfits for during the day, especially when going out and about, they are just so easy to use. Both the Flexitots and the Bamboozles have been fantastic overnight.

Dunedin - Zoie

Hi there,

I am Zoie your Dunedin Nappy Days consultant. My husband Richard and I have a beautiful 16 month old son called Oliver and we have been using cloth nappies on him part time since he was 2 months old. Over the past year and a bit we have tried almost 10 different styles and brands of cloth nappy before discovering the Tots Bots range. They have been perfect on his very sensitive skin and they are the only nappy we trust not to leak overnight. We now use cloth full time and its nice no longer seeing his skin get red and irritated as it did in disposables. It's also nice to see the savings in our bank account!

Living in Dunedin, it can be very hard getting any washing dry over winter especially nappies, but the Flexi Tots are perfect for such conditions. If they are not dry by the time the sun fades I just hang them in the lounge overnight and they are dry and ready to use by the morning. The double layer around the legs with the nappy then the cover, also make them wonderfully bomb proof and we have never experienced a nasty leak!

Three days a week I look after one of Oliver's wee friends while her mummy is at work and having both wee ones in Easyfits makes change time very easy and fast so we can get on with more fun stuff.
