So you are thinking of using cloth nappies.
This is where parents start getting confused. They do a bit of research and read about liners and boosters wraps and then add pockets, all in ones, fitteds and more....
Ok so I am going to say STOP! Lets make it really easy for you.....
Every nappy system has 2 or 3 basic parts:
The Liner = Convenience (optional in some styles)
The Nappy = Absorbency
The Waterproof Outer - The outer waterproof layer
Watch this video and let 'The Nappy Lady' talk you though the basic parts of a cloth nappy... This will help you understand why each nappy looks or functions differently but every nappy on the planet still has the three main components.
The Nappy Lady TIP: If you are unsure and want to see the nappies first, we would suggest you consider a trial pack to get you started. This way you can have a look and a play with the nappies before you make a commitment to a particular style.
Sizes made simple:
Sizes is the next most confusing thing for many parents to be. This is because every different brand sizes their nappies differently.
With the Tots Bots Nappies we have 3 Size options:
Size 1 = Prem - 8kg
Available in: FlexiTots : Bamboozles : TeenyFits (coming soon)
Size 2 = 8 - 18kg
Available in: FlexiTots : Bamboozles
Birth to Potty - 5kg - 18kgs (approx)
Available in: Pocket Tots : EasyFits : FlexiTots : Bamboozles
The confusing thing about the birth to potty Flexi Tot and Bamboozle nappies in the Tots Bots range is that they are in fact the size 2 nappies that adjust down in the front. Watch 'The Nappy Lady' video on sizes and understand what the difference is between using a sized nappy and a birth to potty nappy.

Here at NappyDays we have a range of the three most common styles of modern cloth nappies. Below is a quick breakdown of the benefits of each style of our nappies:
Best For:
Superior Poop Containment - A two piece system (using a tots wrap) provides far better protection from un expected leaks and can be more efficient than a disposable nappy. Flexitots have a unique flexible fit so will fit any shaped baby perfectly. They are super absorbent. You have the option of using mostly natural fabric (Bamboozles) or natural and synthetic fabric combinations (FlexiTots) which dry faster. They are perfect for night-time because of their high absorbent capacity and can have more absorbent boosters added without compomising fit. Birth to potty options available

These Pocket Nappies are super easy to use. They have a double length bamboo insert which provides excellent natural absorbency and makes the nappy nice and trim. They dry fast because the absorbent part comes right out, so it makes it fast to dry. They are a birth to potty nappy so you only need one size. Most parents using pockets will have a couple of fitted nappies for night times or on long car trips and have pockets for the rest of the time. They can have extra absorbent boosters added to make them last even longer. Birth to potty packs available. We suggest the Combo Pack!
These have fast become one of our clients favorite nappies because they are so easy easy easy to use! By using a flushable liner in these sweet little nappies, they are essentially like using a disposable nappy that you throw in the wash. Easy for Dads to get their heads around and Daycares love their simplicity! We suggest these as the perfect Daytime nappy. Most of our clients using cloth and disposables partime have found the part-time pack perfect for their needs!
Note: There is another style of nappy called a Pre-fold, but we do not stock these. Because none of us had any success with using them on our kid's - we wouldn't sell them to anyone else!
We have written some easy to follow guides that will help you decide which nappy will suit you best, chane a nappy and wash a nappy. Keep an eye out for our videos that will be up here soon!
